I'm Susanne; I'm married to Adam and we have two children, George & Lily.
While I was at College Studying for a B.Tec National Diploma in Sports Science, I started to work for the council sports centres. When I finished, I continued to work a variety of positions in the council these include Tops Sports deliverer, Netball Coach, First Aid at work Tutor, Aquacise instructor, Life Guard, Duty Manager and of course ASA Level 2 and NVQ Level 2 registered Swimming Teacher.
Swim Teaching was always my passion, and while I worked in other areas I was always drawn to the challenge of teaching someone to swim, whether it's a baby, child or adult.
I've been teaching since 2000 and taught a variety of levels including the National Leveling system, Ducklings, Waterskills, Rookie Lifesaving and Coaching at High levels up to Honnours. I also taught 1:2:1's to adults, children and people with disabilities.
Until my maternity leave, I taught School Swimming lessons for St Wilfrid's, St Paul's, Westfield, Woodthorpe, Lakeside, Wheldrake, Poppleton Ousebank, Poppleton Road, and Rufforth.
I started Froggy Legs Swim School in April 2007, not to be a millionaire but to keep enjoying teaching. The numbers are usually to a max of six for Levels one to four; this is so we can give more individual time to each child
